This task is optional depending on the agreed scope and approach in Focus And direction. The static aspect of the
information is described by the definition of Information Objects and the characteristics of these objects. The dynamic
aspect (behavior) is described by defining how the Business Activities use and communicate in terms of these objects. A
structure of the Business Activities as well as a structure of the information itself can be defined based on the
communication. The relevant information used in the business is captured in the Information Object Model. If the use of
a reference model is agreed upon in the Focus And Direction Phase it can be helpful in shaping the necessary outline of
the Information Object Model.
The Glossary can provide useful help during this activity.
